Question
Hi Joe, all the categories in the longevity report have already its own report to extend the information unless Oxidative stress. Are you thinking in creating a report for this important hallmark of aging? Thanks
Hi Joe, I feel pretty comfortable with all the info your team create, that is the reason I work with selfdecode. There are some things I find difficult to analyze (because I know they have complexity): - Dopamine: Most of the reports in the blog for most of my clients have red faces scores, so I am not finding an easy way to evaluate who works well with dopamine. May be a report on dopamin or an article with the most important genes would help. Thanks.
I can not do 2.0 upgrade. I loved looking at reports but now I am lost. my molded ME brain is still not well. My body is stuck in CDR. Maybe you could give better instructions. Thank you
Don't know how to get to beta 2.0 as I did my genetic bloodwork with self decode.com. Every time I try from the website information, it asks me to submit my genetic data and I don't know where that is. Likely a user issue but need some help with this. May not be for you, but please provide a contact to help me when you can. Many thanks.
Hello Joe, How can I clear mycotoxins and marcons from my sinuses post chronic biotoxin exposure? I have completed the CIRS protocol after 9 years of chronic exposure to 17 mycotoxins, including multiple aspergillus, pennicillium, alternaria, fusarium, stachybortyrus chartarums, VOCs and all at the highest levels deemed toxic to human health by international pollution standards. I am also MTHFR methylation 40% and HPL (pyrrole - gene identification for which is underway in Australia) positive which has been stabilised for years. (Medical researchers here believe MTHFR and HPL co-exist as a balancing act with the relationship inversely proportional and are attempting to locate an HPL gene.) I am salicylate intolerant, and allergic to asprin, avoiding benzoates, sulphites. I avoid painkillers as a rule and selfdecode has reccommended I avoid acetominophen due to the possibility of drug induced liver injury. Despite going through the CIRS protocol, I cannot eliminate penicillium and multiple antibiotic resistant staph infection in my sinuses. I have completed 3 rounds of BEG spray which made the infection worse. The last round increased in resistance from 3 to 8 antibiotically resistant organisms. Then it was 3 of EDTA and silver, the last round with an air purifier. It lowered the resistant organisms from 8 to 4, with an additional 2 at medium resistance. I am genetically unable to clear gram negative bacteria, mycotoxic metabolites or heavy metals with my innate immunity. Unfortunately my reaction to these treatments has been severe and incapacitating. Currently Selfdecode's recomendations of nigella sativa, curcumin, ECGC, lactoferrin, sulphoraphane and butyrate have allowed me to be alert for the first time in years, it has been astonishing. Thank you. It was 3 days of 'my goodness, I feel and think like myself again!' Then I used intranasally the EDTA and silver spray... and the poor memory, cognitive incapacity,,irritability, POTS, breathlessness, disinterest in food and drink, acute lethargy, constipation etc previously experienced with the silver EDTA treatment returned. I did research allergic rhinitis' and refractory biofilm sinusitis; and, use of 650nm intranasal application for red light or red light laser with EDTA. This did seem to successful on the basis of application of methylene blue or a light attractant applied to the infection biofilm which allowed the light to break down the polysaccharide matrix and the EDTA to penetrate. However, most of these studies involved petrie dishes not people, unfortunately. Could you reccommend anything else to enhance clearing the LPS bacteria and penicillium from my sinuses and detoxication? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for creating this resource. It has provided hope to me for the first time in years Felidae
Hi Joe, Could you please direct me to a previous webinar if there is one, where I can find how to address symptoms associated with super stress in personal relationship but complicated by menopause. Age 61. Symptoms of fat gained around the belly started to be noticed 18 months ago when major stress occurred. Prior to that weight was not a problem but hot flushes were for 11 years and despite 'natural' hormonal treatment, show no sign of abating. Prior to going onto keto for 3 months, weight gain wasn't an issue but suspect that either the keto or the super stress (or combination of both) triggered some genetic switch and the fat has been piling on. It can't be solely from menopause - 10 years after menopause brought no weight gain. Hormonal treatments like natural progesterone, bio-identical testosterone and bio-identical estrodial and estriol don't stop the hot flushes. Typical difficulty sleeping associated with stress - cortiso? - so using melatonin. Restless legs some nights so taking magnesium gylcinate. Thyroid blood tests as normal, even reverse T3 and so does serum cortisol although the tests were not 24 hour tests or saliva tests. Genetics are compound MTHFR (heterozygous for both 1298 and 667) but much improved mentally after taking supps to help with methylation. Disabling migraines gone since stopping soy and other high tyramine foods. Also a pyroluria issue which responds well to P5P and zinc. I have run the SNPs under Symptoms and Conditions for diabetes, thyroid and obesity with results showing lots of reds for all of those conditions. Diet is the same as it was prior to the 3 months on keto: gluten and grain free, including pseudo grain-free; no processed food; only cooked food is chickpeas perhaps once per week or some times several times per week (chickpeas are home prepared, soaked 24-48 hours, then thoroughly cooked). Soaks and dehydrates/activates nuts and seeds except for macadamias and hempseed which are consumed raw. Everything is eaten organic and raw where possible (some conventional fruit from local farmer). Did a series of 19 liver flushes (ie Andre Moritz) prior to the keto diet. Regular parasite cleanses. Regularly uses coffee enemas once a week. Regular probiotics from home made yoghurt with low histamine culture. No 'evils' - coffee, alcohol, drugs, non-smoker. Had had amalgams removed and detoxed mercury out 20 years ago. Serum tests have shown low toxicity of all heavy metals. Makes own bread, yoghurt and desserts from hempseed. No dairy, no soy. Takes Ancestral Supplements (grain fed) liver. Uses essential oils regularly for use as infection fighting and detox. Walks 3.5 km at least 5 days per week, including up 2 steep hills but not too tiring. Feel that digestion is not what it used to be prior to the keto. If you can please suggest how to address turning on the 'normal' switch again regards fat burning, it would really be appreciated. Many thanks
hey, joe, how often do you recommend to use the ices and the veilight lllt? also when you went on all meat diet and high fat did it not work for you? you had to add carbs like honey and hi maize to feel better. i mean when i eat only meat I don't feel that good. also i have been usuing hi maize and the first time i felt the effectfrom 45g, but after that, I don't feel the effect and get some gas from 55g of it. do you think i should increase my consumption or why do you think i cant feel an effect im on a LAD diet.
hey joe, since I can remember as a kid I have had chronic brain fog, mood issues, the fatigue I didn't think anything of it, but in high school, it got worse because I had to start doing heavy workload and use more cognition, I had to drop out of secondary school due to my issues, I couldn't remember anything after 2 minutes. I can't hold down a decent job that has left me working labour jobs killing my body, just to support myself and fix my illness. I know you had somewhat of the same situation as me, I have tried many diets and have stuck to LAD. I did my genes and start taking the supplements from mood and cog and inflammation report, but other than curcumin and fish oil lowering my inflam I feel 60% better and other supps from my reports hasn't helped I still have low chronic brain fog (memory issues) mood issues and energy issues. I have been to a multitude of doctors from alternative to conventional doctors, but none were able to help me, I am in a vicious cycle working to live a very crappy life. people around me think I'm lazy and don't want to do anything with my life, but I can't explain to them what nightmare I'm going through. it's been 6 years since I dropped out of high school I have been trying to fix my issues, and it's very tough to live a normal life with this condition. I haven't had a single normal day since I can remember. I don't know how you were able to fix your problems I commend you for that. I was wondering if you would consider consulting with me it could change my life entirely because I don't know how long I can live like this.
hey, joe, Dave Asprey says that PQQ in “stabilized” disodium salt doesn't give you any benefits and as soon as they are faced with stomach acid they turn into little rocks and don't help the mitochondria, what are your thoughts? I am trying to take some PQQ for my mitochondria and all of them come in “stabilized” disodium salt.
I received my results. Would you please suggest where I can find a doctor to help me continue and incorporate lifestyle changes? Has anyone here sought professional services for using your results, and would you be willing to share your contact?
Peptides for strengthening connective tissue?
Is there a way to download a file from Nebula to SelfDecode? Thanks!
My husband battles extreme fatigue even though he sleeps 8-9 hours a night. He's okay for about an hour after getting up and then "nose dives" and feels like he needs to take a nap! He has complex sleep apnea and this is controlled with a C-Pap machine (latest check up shows optimal sleep). His thyroid levels are optimal with RX and cortisol levels are within normal range, per saliva testing. He takes numerous supplements but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
Will health coaches qualify for the training program or just physicians? I would love to do that!
If someone has high glutamate levels, are you concerned about them having the collagen powders with the high glutamic acid in them
what about rare genetic issues? can all genetic issues be mitigated by interventions or are there some that will need crisp-r technology?

Question
Final note to my big questions below: I think it was vitamin K (K1, MK4, MK7) causing my BP issues!? I'm starting to take 10k D without any K. PS: What's the Group Consult for?
I have tried several times to unsubscribe from VIP service but you keep charging me. I have evidence from many emails and only one response. I really enjoyed for several years your service but this is unprofessional. I know you are probably not even aware of this and that this is not the place for this, but you should have venues to solve problems like this.
Do you know any particular hack/solution to overcome waking up at night at about 1-3 am? Most of the time I fall asleep very quickly, then I wake up after the first or second sleep cycle. Usually, I don't feel tired after and it is really hard to fall back to sleep. It takes much time for me to feel tired again and fall back to sleep again, but even when I can I have a lighter sleep. According to your sleep report, I have lower-than-average risk for insomnia-like symptoms.
A few other observations on top of my first message, My Oura is tracking a -5-8 dip in BPM at the moments I wake up (~2am, ~3:30, sometimes midnight). When I had a Fitbit it tracked a -7-10% dip in oxygen (Pulse Ox) around those same times (before megadosing D). With the D+licorice interaction I had super high and sensitive BPM during the day, so that still points me to aldosterone/etc imbalance. But are these ox/BPM dips related? Are they just sleep apnea? But if so, why at very specific times? I've been looking into trying nitric oxide supplementation but am not sure if it fits this picture?
I've gotten myself into an odd situation with Vitamin D so bear with me please. I've been chronically deficient (VDR SNPs confirmed, maybe absorption issues too?) so I feel I need to supplement for life, but I'd been neglecting it for years because no doctor prioritized it. So last October - November I megadosed 25k-70k daily for a few weeks to force my levels into optimal range (D3 + 3 Ks was most effective) , mainly because I was in pursuit of resolving a severe, chronic cluster of health issues: 1-3-day-long, post-meal "hangovers" involving lethargy, cognitive impairment, eye pain / uveitis, loss of appetite, and mood issues (which I'd asked you about a couple months ago too). I got a blood test and overshot it of course (196 ng/mL of 25OH with calcitriol at 80pg), yet had ZERO negative side effects. This megadosing experiment DID IMPROVE those symptoms which had not responded to anything else for three years, and then completely disappeared like a miracle with slippery elm! (So clearly there was a gut-immune connection; I found your Tregs article which seems relevant). HOWEVER, to try supporting my continuing adrenal/HPA fatigue. I experimented with about 3 days of licorice root/tea at the end of my megadosing phase and my blood pressure skyrocketed to scary levels. I took myself to MedExpress, before connecting the dots: stopping D immediately lowered the high daytime BP. But I was left in a pattern of 3am awakenings for months, finally resolved a few weeks ago with 3000mg (3x) Seriphos and eating glucose Extend bars before bed. (My hunger/metabolism is through the roof, along with shaky body temp / temp sensitivity) Then recently, some of those "hangover" symptoms popped back up. I connected the dots to being 4 months off D, so I took 45k again across two days. Maybe it was too much? Because my sleep has been disturbed with 2am AND 3-4am high BP awakenings, where I can't fall back to sleep after the second awakening. I finally realized this is more likely aldosterone than cortisol? This BP is very 'calm but heavy', whereas cortisol BP always had a clear physical-mental-emotional stress associated with it and responded to Seriphos. My 3x Seriphos before bed has lost its efficacy with this non-stress BP. Taking another 1x with the second awakening might be helping me get back to sleep 2-3 hours later, but also wipes out my morning cortisol/oomph. So. What body equilibrium/system involving D/aldosterone/cortisol/adrenals/electrolytes did licorice screw with, that taking D is producing aldosterone-based insomnia? What am I missing? Based on two blood tests 45 days apart, my 196 levels dropped to 78 at a rate of losing ~2.4ng / day, so I don't think I can go too long with out D. But it's like I traded severe gut-immune symptoms for crazy insomnia, and there's a balance in between that I'm missing and don't know how to get back to. I feel like if I'd never experimented with licorice (the one thing I didn't research enough in my whole life!!!), then the combo of D + slippery elm + glucose management + Seriphos would've supported all of my issues and left me in a good place. Eager for your insight. Thank you.
I was wondering if I could schedule an appointment with you. Brain fog has become a big part of my life, and it's really made working difficult. My forehead always feels tight and it has become very hard to concentrate. I've been trying to treat my brain fog but so far it has been to no avail. Any help would be immensely appreciated.
My DHEA is high, I don't take supplements. I can find lots of info about low DHEA but not high. What are the implications of having a high DHEA the blood test results came back saying 7.14 umol/L out of range
Any particular reason why NAC isn't in your regimen?
Do you have any advice on weaning off from Otrivine for someone who suffers allergic nasal congestion at night?

I just wrote in a question about RA/Carnivore. I meant to also write I am APOE 3/4 so how do I address the saturated fat issue? Thanks.
I am somewhere on the arthritis spectrum, possibly RA (it's painful and in all matching joints). Last summer I went carnivore which helped a ton, but a simultaneous large increase in a calcium supplement gave me C-Diff. My joint pain is unmanageable and I want to carefully return to as close to carnivore as possible. I think I need to keep some level of carb because I have Hashimotos and sleep/ feel better with it. Can you suggest how I would best do this? Soaked rice over vegetables? I've tried everything else- AIP, Keto, Paleo and the arthritis stays with me. Any other suggestions?
