Question
Hello. What do you recommend for a person who should have surgery and whether or not to take antibiotics? in addition to healthy habits. I took probiotics and they have not helped me. I have taken 10x13 if I don't remember badly. I have chron's disease. thank you.
Hello , 1. the supplements you sell, do you make them? 2.regarding genetic tests for people living in other countries how do you do? Since every country has its own injury and, I don't know if the biological sample gets to the U.S. and through what mail do you do it? 3. With regard to genetic tests that you do, in which % you estimate that it can improve health, beyond avoiding readings, dairy, artificial light, nnemf, etc ... Leaving aside that celiac disease is known that if you leave gluten improves a lot. 4. You do the genetic tests to make nutrigenomics? or for what other purpose? Thank.
1. I noticed the links for consultations from your website has disappeared... are you or your team still available for consultations?2. What would be your top recommendations in terms of supplements for people with generalized epilepsy to help calm the brain?3. If changing diet to a lectin free, anti-inflammatory diet doesn't help after 6 months - 2 years of application and I still have psoriasis... is it likely that I am having immune reactions to some other kind of substance like mold/chemicals/pathogens/etc.? That I should get tested using Cyrex labs?4. Do you think leaky gut is as big of an issue as many make out on the internet and is at the root of a lot of autoimmunity?5. Top recommendations for stage 2 HPA axis dysfunction (slightly low cortisol and DHEA)? (diet is already good, no blood sugar issues either)6. Top recommended neurobiofeedback devices to help lower stress and retrain the brain/mind for calmness? Thanks so much.
I am TH1 + TH2 dominate. I just heard you say in your Inflammation course to stay away from all Antioxidants if one is dealing with High inflammation. I have Histamine Interlance, High TNF-a and CRP and bleeding Ulcerative Colitis, and major food sensitivities. I use H2 gas for an hour or two a day and make H2 water from the machine. Should I stay away from that as well since is the strongest antioxidant in the world?
I have seen that in the last webinar of yours you have no subtitles! I speak Spanish, please if you can put them to understand. Thank you
Hi Joe, I had severe food reactions 1 year before surgery, I then had emergency spinal surgery and all my symptoms went away for 3 weeks and then came back again. Brain fog completely gone, eating without any issues & energy came back. Everything was normal again for the first time in my life. The improvement came from taking Tramadol. I tried other medications which work on the exact same neurotransmitters but they didn't have anywhere near the same effect. Do you know how and why this occurred?
With regard to the question of fecal transplantation and helminththerapy, I would like to ask because, for example, necator americanus is used for celiac people, and my malabsorption can be generated by celiac disease or lymphocytic colitis.
hello good day. 1. What do you recommend to overcome an addiction? e.g. to pornography. 2.what do you think of the company wormtherapy? do you know someone who has done it? my fear is that the parasite has e.g. a virus. Although according to research it is difficult for this to happen. 3. Do you know anyone who has had a fecal transplant? I know of a clinic in the UK, taymount clinic. But I'm more afraid of that than I am of the parasite, because if they don't purify the faeces well, the remedy may be worse than the disease. And it's very expensive too. Thank.
Hi Joe - 1. I've been 95% good at just eating the phase one foods for a month( had some green banana and green banana flour, few cups coffee, and some meat not 100% pastured). I don't think that is what kept me from feeling better. My interstitial cystitis and some type of peripheral joints spondyloarthritis (HLA-b27 negative, RF, anti-CCP, ANAs negative so far) is no better than when I started, in fact worse without all my anti-inflammatory herbs. My sed rate is barely lower at 40 with CRP .9 . Do you still think lectins are causing my problem? 2. I have the bad snp CYP34a rs12721627 homozygous GG. Is it bad for me to consume inhibitors like curcumin and CBD? How do I know if these are hurting or helping? Should I stop them if I have to take a drug that affects that pathway? 3. I'm very confused about Nitric Oxide. Is it good or bad to increase with foods life beets? Thank you so much!
Hi Joe, are there alternative ways of improving energy in the body whilst having a low iron/low haemoglobin profile, without increasing iron intake?I have this artificially low profile from being treated for Hereditary Haemochromatosis, an iron overload condition caused by a gene mutation (known as 'the celtic curse').Iron/ferritin and haemoglobin is kept artificially low (near anaemic levels) from multiple venesections (taken c. 13,500 ml of blood in 6 months) and one of the side effects is severe ongoing fatigue. Unlike anaemics, we are unable to raise the iron levels to sort the side effects out. What I want to ask is: are you able, or know of ways, to get oxygen round the brain and body and therefore access energy without the need for higher levels of iron and hemoglobin? I read it may be possible with Chlorophyll as it is molecularly similar to hemoglobin but I'm no doctor.Or am I doomed to a life of severe fatigue without this profile changing? Thanks! Chris
Hi Joe, How can I increase the amount of REM sleep. I'm getting a lot of deep sleep but next to no REM sleep (15 Minutes).
I have malabsorptiontiredness, etc.. First ATA lgA test was positive. Duodenum biopsy within normal bounds apparently, H pylori wasnt found Biopsy of large intestine show slight lymphocytic inflammation. White blood cells in stool. HLA DQ2 positive. Stool elastase test and alpha-1 antitrypsin test normal. No parasites found. MRI and CAT scans show mildly inflamed mesenteric lymph nodes. Anti lkm, ASMA, AMA, Anti dna negatives. Anti VIH,HVC,HBS ag Negatives. Albumin is normal. SIBO has been discarted. Calprotectin test is Ok. Has not responded to mesalamine, antispasmodic, or digestive enzymes. treatment: Strict gluten and dairy and cereals free diet .I wear lenses for blue light, I fall asleep before 22 generally. I avoid readings, dairy products, etc. I drink fluoride-free water as much as possible. What do you recommend??? thanks.
I’m diagnosed with neurological Lyme and bipolar. My bipolar mood symptoms are very mild, but I believe I do have dopamine supersensitivity (can’t touch alcohol, caffeine, any stims). (Maybe this is partly due to Lyme, I don't know.) I also believe that this dopamine supersensitivity is causing my insomnia, given the fact that I only sleep well with dopamine-lowering/blocking drugs. So far, antipsychotics cause too many side effects and herbals like magnolia bark decrease dopamine too much during the day. I'm super sensitive to increases in dopamine so I can't really take something to increase it upon awakening. So how can I lower dopamine transiently during the night? I’ve read your articles on adenosine and also read about how it decreases D2 sensitivity/binding. I know Valerian acts as an adenosine agonist but I found it also unfortunately increases DA. (https://www.kau.edu.sa/Files/0009057/Researches/24531_24773.pdf). Any ideas? Am I missing anything? If adenosine could work, what's the best form to take it in? Thanks!
Please recommend "supplements/drugs/vitamins/nootropics/sleeping aids" stack, eating protocol and any other advice to prepare for stressful situations like exams which help to decrease it's negative effects and increase cognitive function. Also advice on the day before for a good sleep and on the day of the stressful peak event for mental clearness/focus.
What is your opinion (SWOT) about the Wim Hof method, a protocol combining special breathing and cold exposure, related to immune system down regulation/inflamation reduction? Hi Joe -- Regarding the Autoimmune-Cancer trade-off concept: I can't find any research that recognizes that a predisposition to autoimmune (or having actual autoimmune issues) corresponds with lower cancer risks or vice versa. Is a theoretical assertion, or have there been studies/research papers that conclude that this trade-off might exist? Obviously many diagnose-able autoimmune conditions (RA, Psoriasis, IBD) come with recognized increased risks of certain cancers. But I've never seen it stated in research that autoimmune predisposition comes with a decreased risk. Thanks!! Dan
Hi Joe, If the waiting period is too long for a consultation with you, will you be able to refer me to one of your consultant who is familiar with your condition/ or treated some one with a similar condition?
Hi Joe, I understand that if we want to have a consultation with you, we have to be placed on a waiting list. Can you give me an estimate of how many weeks or months I will have to wait and the price of the consultation.
If your chronic ,inflammation is caused by nutrient deficiency/weak system, how can you strengthen your system? I am constantly taking lots of different vitamins/mineral supplements for many years.
Hi, My 2 main health issues are psoriasis (not on meds) and epilepsy (controlled on low/medium dose of meds)I have recently done the Cyrex Array #2 and was found to have a leaky gut and elevated LPS... what are the next most important tests to get done to get to the root of my gut issues and discover what may be the deeper issue? My budget isn't unlimited and these tests are all pretty expensive so I just want to ensure I'm getting the right ones that will actually make a difference to potential treatment. Different people recommend Cyrex food allergy testing, OAT testing, leaky BBB testing, SIBO tests, GI effects, 23andme, homocysteiene, etc. What should be my priority as far as further testing goes? (top 3 most important)Thanks Joe, Dan
Recently been diagnosed with Gastroparesis. I'm in search of any suggestions to speed up gastric motility.
Hi Joe, thanks for your work!I am curious what your thoughts are on the ION profile analysis? I am looking at further testing after the DNA SelfDecode and am thinking ION profile is the best bang for my buck from true north labs (here in Canada). Your Labtestanalyzer looks quite, and am hoping/wondering if an ION Profile analysis will be available on there in the near future!? Any thoughts or feedback you may have about labtestanalyzer methodology, or ION profile and ways to analyze the results would be highly interesting! I am a student with some health concerns so am looking at all of this through the lens of a starving student, thanks for your time!Kind Regards, Colin
How to hack photophobia? It's being bothering me since i contracted Lyme disease.
What supplements do you use on daily basis?
can you mention the root cause of all your past chronic health problems ?
Hi Joe, Because of so many positive benefits of curcumin, I'm planning to supplement with it. My only concern is that I'm underweight and read that curcumin blocks adipose tissue formation and supports weight loss. I've been also trying to build muscle for years, with very little success. I don't clearly understand the science behind curcumin. Do you think that it can "force" the body losing weight even in case of underweight people? Thanks.
You posted a reading on lipopolysaccharides. How do I test to see if LPS is prevalent in the blood or is elevated? Deen
I notice each time I detoxify I always break out with itching and the itching will continue for months. Even lemon juice and warm water in the morning makes me hungry and I itch. Also, each time I used fresh herbs for various health reasons, it seems like the itching starts up, as if I consume an allergen, (but I know I didn't ). I also get a flare from my ulcerative colitis during these times.
For many years my hair has always been dry and brittle. The hair at the top and back of my head is thick and growing while at the same time the front and size are always thin and falls out quickly. I really would like to know why.
